Leading with Westport’s Values
Westport offers so much - natural beauty, the arts, world class schools, a vibrant downtown, but what drew us both to Westport was the way the community comes together. Whether to build a playground, support our neighbors, or govern ourselves, Westport engages in town life. We will honor that tradition by prioritizing engaged leadership in which everyone feels heard. We are equally committed to being fiscally responsible in planning for needed capital improvements; and, we will foster a thriving local economy that will sustain Westport into the future.
Please join us in the Westport tradition!

Kevin Christie
Kevin Christie brings strong leadership, transparency, and community engagement to Westport’s government. He is committed to preserving what makes Westport special while planning responsibly for its future. He works to ensure the town is well-managed, fiscally responsible, and inclusive for all residents. Kevin believes good governance starts with listening, and that collaboration produces the best results for Westport.
Before transitioning to public service, Kevin spent over 15 years in finance, investment banking, and corporate strategy at IBM, Merrill Lynch, and The Madison Square Garden Company. He advised CEOs and boards, led cross-functional teams, and executed over $40 billion in strategic and financial transactions. He draws on that same strategic mindset, financial acumen, and proven execution to guide his work in town government.
Kevin currently serves on the Westport Board of Education, where he was elected in 2021 and chairs the Policy Committee. On the BOE, he has delivered on his campaign promises by championing student achievement, improving school facilities, and strengthening governance. He has also helped navigate complex challenges with transparency and a mission-driven approach.
He has been deeply involved in his twins’ school communities, holding multiple volunteer and leadership roles with the Coleytown Elementary School PTA, including serving as treasurer. He has also coached youth soccer through the Westport Soccer Association and served on the admissions committee at West Side Montessori School in New York City.
Kevin holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Union College. He and his wife Gina, and their twins, have called Westport home since 2018. Their twins have attended Westport Public Schools since kindergarten and are now in middle school.

Amy Wistreich
Amy Wistreich has dedicated the last six years to making Westport an even better place to live and raise a family through her service on the Zoning Board of Appeals (2019-2023) and Planning & Zoning Commission (2023-present). On both bodies, she has been an independent voice, always thoroughly prepared, ready to listen, and bringing to bear her professional experience in land use, architecture and construction.
Amy began her career in the New York office of Kohn Pedersen Fox Architects + Planners. For the last two decades, Amy has devoted her time to community work and consulting. In the various communities she has lived, she has volunteered in her children’s schools, her synagogues, and local community organizations. Amy has served on numerous boards and building and architecture committees, including the Fairfield/Westchester Chapter of Young President’s Organization Gold, The Grammar School in Putney, Vermont, Temple Beth El in Springfield, Massachusetts, and Congregation Ahavas Achim in Keene, New Hampshire.
